To be a member of the Plano Area Enrolled Agents, you must be an Enrolled Agent and also be a member of the Texas Society of Enrolled Agents and a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents. We offer our members top quality education through either our own chapter, the Texas Society Association, the National Association, or affiliates such as NCPE which provides terrific update classes on various types of returns.
However, even though we require members to be enrolled agents, we also have associates who are not enrolled agents but who are tax professionals. These people can join as associates and receive the benefits of membership other than voting and holding office.
We also invite tax professionals, whether enrolled agent, CPA, attorney or preparer to join us as a guest at meetings. Since these are not members or associates, they do not receive the member discount.
We would love for you to join as either a member or an associate depending on your credentials.
